Winter Weather Advisory issued February 10 at 7:24PM EST until February 11 at 12:00AM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations around a trace
of ice.
* WHERE...Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Southern Wayne, and Wyoming
Counties.
* WHEN...Until midnight EST tonight.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Difficult travel conditions are
possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light showers will move into the region this
evening, there is a short window where freezing rain is possible
leading to slippery roads and sidewalks.
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission remind motorist to adjust speeds based on
driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania roadways.
