Winter Weather Advisory issued February 10 at 1:49PM EST until February 11 at 12:00AM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...Freezing rain or drizzle expected this evening. Total ice
accumulations between a light glaze to a few hundreths of an inch.
* WHERE...Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Southern Wayne, and Wyoming
Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight EST tonight.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light showers move into the region this
evening, there is a short window where freezing rain or drizzle is
possible leading to slippery roads and sidewalks.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission remind motorist to adjust speeds based on
driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania roadways.
