Description
At approximately 0956 hours today, police were dispatched to the area of Hill School Road for a report of power lines down.
Upon arrival, Met-Ed was already on scene and determined that a fallen tree struck and broke a utility pole, resulting in a power outage in the area.
Met-Ed crews are actively working to resolve the situation and restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
We ask residents to please remain patient. If you have a fireplace or alternate heat source, use it safely to help keep warm during the outage.
