There has been confusion regarding a Boil Water Alert generated by Penn American Water which erroneously included a map indicating residents in Forward Township were affected. Please be advised, after contacting the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County (MAWC) for clarification, the Boil Water Alert DOES NOT AFFECT residents of Forward Township who receive their water from Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County (MAWC).
This notification was posted by Forward Township. Forward Township is solely responsible for this notification and unless specifically indicated, no other community or individual utilizing Savvy Citizen is sponsoring, responsible for, or endorsing this notification.
