Wind Advisory issued February 6 at 2:03AM EST until February 7 at 10:00PM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 20 below expected. For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 15 to
25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south-central Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 4 AM Saturday to 10 AM
EST Sunday. For the Wind Advisory, from 4 AM to 10 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
