Extreme Cold Warning issued February 6 at 1:03AM EST until February 8 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 to 30 below zero
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From 4 AM Saturday to 1 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
