Sewickley Township would like to remind all residents and property owners of Chapter 21, Part 5 of the Township Code regarding snow and ice removal on public sidewalks:
§504. Responsibility for Maintenance and Unobstructed Use.
1. It shall be the responsibility of the owner and/or legal resident of the property abutting the sidewalk to keep the sidewalk in a proper state of repair and maintain it free from hazardous conditions and obstructions, including, but not limited to, snow, ice, mud, and debris.
2. Snow and/or ice shall be removed from sidewalks within 24 hours of the end of snowfall and/or an ice event. Snow and/or ice removed from sidewalks shall not be placed within roads, streets, or alleys.
This notification was posted by Sewickley Township. Sewickley Township is solely responsible for this notification and unless specifically indicated, no other community or individual utilizing Savvy Citizen is sponsoring, responsible for, or endorsing this notification.
