Penn Waste will begin their routes one hour earlier on all operating days this upcoming week for the following reasons:
Monday & Tuesday: Double collection will be required.
Wednesday through Friday: A significant number of residents were not collected this week due to their trash and recycling not being out.
Many roads were inaccessible due to ice and snow.
Residents were unable to place their trash and recycling at the curb because of the ice and snow.
Starting one hour earlier will allow them to safely and effectively complete collections and ensure all residents are serviced.
