To: All Littlestown Borough Residents and Property Owners!
As you are aware, it is the responsibility of all property owners to remove accumulated snow and ice from your sidewalks no later than 24 hours after the end of the snow event. Due to the size of this storm, we have not enforced this requirement and have given residents extra time to clear their sidewalks. However effective Monday February 2, 2026, at 8:00am the Borough will begin issuing violations for property owners that have failed to clean their sidewalks as indicated in the Borough Code “Chapter 404, Streets and sidewalks sub section B.” We are asking that all property owners comply with the requirement to avoid being fined and risk civil issues if someone would slip and fall on your property. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
