Youngwood Borough Council and Mayor would like to THANK the residents for their patience and working with the Borough during Winter Storm Fern.
In addition, we would like to THANK our Public Works Department and the seasonal part-time employees for their dedication and commitment to keeping the roads passable during the storm.
If you have not shoveled your sidewalk by this time, the Borough requests that you do so for the safety of the mail carriers and those who walk to businesses.
At this time, Youngwood Borough respectively asks the residents to PLEASE help us again by removing vehicles from the parking lanes Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM TO 4:00 PM so the parking lanes can be cleared for snow removal. Please understand this is the Borough’s plan and it is subject to change depending on weather, equipment and cooperation from our residents.
