Cold Weather Advisory issued January 28 at 8:28AM EST until January 28 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 13 below. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, very
cold wind chills as low as 15 below expected.
* WHERE...Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Southern Wayne, and Wyoming
Counties.
* WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST this
morning. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 11 PM this
evening to 9 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could
result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
