Qualified Veterans can apply for a Property Tax Exemption through the local Veterans Service Office but don't forget to bring it the Assessor's Office after! A Standard Veterans exemption will receive approx $200 off their tax bill, a 100% Disabled Veteran will typically not pay any property taxes on their primary occupied residence and new for this year is the Percentage Disabled Veterans who will receive the percentage of their disability off their taxes.
