Good Morning
We want to inform you that we were unable to complete scheduled service today due to continued icy and unsafe road conditions. Our team did make attempts to access routes; however, despite these efforts, multiple trucks slid off the roadway. At that point, we made the decision to suspend service to protect the safety of our employees and the community.
The safety of our drivers, residents, and the general public is always our top priority. Operating heavy equipment on roads that remain icy and hazardous creates risks for everyone involved, and we appreciate your understanding as we take the necessary precautions to keep both our employees and the community safe.
Due to the two consecutive days of missed service, we will be providing double service next week for Monday and Tuesday customers to ensure residents are taken care of as quickly as possible once conditions allow.
We also ask that townships please remind residents to ensure there is a clear and safe path to their trash and recycling containers. Our employees cannot safely pull containers over snowbanks or dig them out of snow, so containers must be accessible and free of snow in order to be serviced.
We appreciate your continued partnership and understanding as we work through these weather-related challenges. Please feel free to share this information with residents and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
