Description
Stamford City Hall will open at 10 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The VIP Center will remain closed for one more day in an abundance of caution for our senior citizen patrons.
The public works crew spent most of the day investigating leak reports and repairing significant leaks on McHarg Street and Hudson Road. They will start again first thing in the morning. We have leaks to address on Symonds and in the 600 block of East Moran as a top priority. We expect more leaks to continue as the ground thaws. During working hours, please report all leaks to City Hall at 325-773-2723.
We continue to monitor the limited pressure being delivered to portions of the Ericksdahl Water Supply Corp. system east of town and are working with that system to determine the cause.
Stay warm, stay safe, and be careful driving as the snow/ice begins to thaw and refreeze.
