Message from Waste Connection
Our team has driven all routes and roadways today to assess conditions. While we have made progress, there are still multiple safety concerns, and several roadways remain unserviceable at this time due to drifting snow, ice, and overall road conditions.
Because temperatures are expected to drop significantly overnight, we will be starting collections during daylight hours tomorrow to reduce the risk of refreeze-related hazards. Safety remains our top priority for both our drivers and the communities we serve.
Currently, our internet service is still down due to the storm, which means we are unable to send out a call blast to residents. We ask for your help in notifying residents to ensure their trash and cans are clear of snow and accessible from the roadway.
We will do our best to service all areas where conditions allow; however, there may still be some roadways that we are unable to safely access. In those cases, we will collect double the following week for any missed material once conditions improve.
