Well we all made it through the big snow event, now it's time to dig out. It doesn't look like the temperatures are going to be helping this week to get rid of any of the snow and ice. I'm very happy to report that we had a outstanding response to our request to move cars off the township streets and didn't have to issue any parking tickets or tow any cars. For that a big shout out.

The Caernarvon Township, Berks County Snow Emergency has been lifted. Please continue to use caution as you start to head out. Remember not to blow or throw snow out into the street. Our Public Works crew has been hard at it the last two days. So when they drive by give them a wave or smile I'm sure they could use it.

We are aware that numerous mailboxes have been damaged by flying snow. Attached is a copy of the Caernarvon Township, Berks County "Snow and Damaged Mailbox Policy for your review.
