Extreme Cold Warning issued January 26 at 11:42AM CST until January 26 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Corpus Christi TX
* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
20 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 17 expected.
* WHERE...Bee, Coastal Aransas, Coastal Calhoun, Coastal Kleberg,
Coastal Nueces, Coastal Refugio, Coastal San Patricio, Duval,
Inland Calhoun, Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland Refugio,
Inland San Patricio, Jim Wells, La Salle, Live Oak, McMullen, and
Webb Counties.
* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
