Extreme Cold Warning issued January 26 at 2:51AM MST until January 26 at 9:00AM MST by NWS Albuquerque NM
* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 degrees below zero
expected.
* WHERE...Curry County, De Baca County, and Roosevelt County.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM MST this morning.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go
outside.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
