Extreme Cold Warning issued January 25 at 11:52PM EST until January 27 at 11:00AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, northwest, southwest, and
western Pennsylvania, and northern and the northern panhandle of
West Virginia.
* WHEN...From 7 PM Monday to 11 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minimum wind chill values in the higher
elevations of PA and WV could reach as low as 30 below zero.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go
outside.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
