§ 21-302 Responsibility for Removal of Snow and Ice.
It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant, or tenant of any real estate to remove snow or ice, pursuant to § 21-301 of this Part, by placing it in a street or alley which abuts the sidewalk or pedestrian walkway. A violation of this section shall be subject to any fine or penalty imposed under § 21-304 of this Part.
Our Public Works has been working since midnight to treat and plow the roads. People are now shoveling and blowing the snow into the roadway as our workers are trying to clear the snow so that they can apply salt and anti-skid. STOP!!!! We will enforce the ordinance and the fines can be up to $1,000.00.
