Extreme Cold Warning issued January 24 at 11:26PM CST until January 26 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Corpus Christi TX

* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 14. For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
30 Sunday morning and as low as 21. For the Extreme Cold Warning,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 11 expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal San Patricio,
Duval, Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland San Patricio, Jim
Wells, Kleberg Islands, Nueces Islands, and Webb Counties.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 3 AM CST Monday. For
the first Freeze Warning and second Freeze Warning, until noon CST
Monday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 3 AM to noon CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Wind chill values can lead to
hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Frost and freeze conditions
could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage
unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
