Winter Storm Warning issued January 23 at 7:08PM EST until January 26 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, lake effect snow expected.
Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches in the most persistent lake
snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. For the Winter Storm
Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 10 to 15
inches.
* WHERE...Orleans County.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST Saturday.
For the Winter Storm Warning, from 7 AM Sunday to 7 PM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday evening and Monday morning commutes.
Widespread accumulating snow will create dangerous travel conditions.

Consider delaying travel. If you must travel, drive with extreme
caution. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of
you, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden
braking or acceleration, and be especially cautious on hills or when
making turns.
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling,
be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
