In the event that anyone needs a warm place to go or they lose power and need somewhere to stay until the power comes back on, the Moody Police Department along with Moody ISD is making the FEMA building a warm and safe place for people to go to. If you need the service contact the McLennan county sheriffs department dispatch at 254–7 57–5222. An officer will be dispatched to unlock the building and allow you access. If anybody is in need of assistance during the extreme cold weather contact the dispatcher and an officer will be dispatched to assist you.
