Description
Some tips as you prepare for the upcoming snowstorm:
-Make sure you have all prescriptions filled and necessary first aid items stocked
-Have at least 2 gallons of water stored for emergency use
-Check all flashlights and lanterns to make sure they work properly and make sure you have extra batteries
-Only use approved indoor heating devices (do not use oven, grills, kerosene heaters, etc.)
-Make sure cell phones are kept fully charged when possible
-Have extra blankets ready
-If you need assistance that is NOT an emergency, please call or email the borough office and leave a detailed message (name, address and assistance that is needed)
!!! If you have a neighbor or family member that is elderly or disabled, please check on them. If they need immediate assistance, call 9-1-1 !!!
