Description
Coolbaugh Township is monitoring an impending snowstorm expected to impact our area this weekend. To ensure public safety and allow for efficient snow removal, please review and follow the guidelines below:

🚫 NO PARKING ON STREETS OR RIGHTS-OF-WAY
1. Parking is prohibited on all Township streets and Rights-of-Way at any time during snow events.
2. Vehicles parked on streets or in Rights-of-Way may be ticketed and/or towed.
3. This restriction helps emergency vehicles and snowplows operate safely and effectively.

🧹 REMOVE ITEMS FROM RIGHTS-OF-WAY
1. Residents are required to remove ALL items from the Right-of-Way, including:
2. Trash and recycling bins
3. Basketball hoops
4. Mailbox obstructions
5. Decorative items or other personal property
6. Items left in the Right-of-Way may be damaged or removed during snow operations.

⚡ POWER OUTAGE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In the event of power outages:
1. Keep flashlights and extra batteries readily available (avoid candles if possible)
2. Charge phones and essential devices ahead of the storm
3. Use generators outdoors only and away from windows or doors
4. Never use grills or gas appliances indoors for heat
5. Check on elderly neighbors or those with medical needs
6. Report outages to your utility provider promptly

🚜 SNOW REMOVAL SAFETY & PRACTICES
1. Stay back from snowplows and give them plenty of room
2. Do not shovel or blow snow into roadways
3. Clear sidewalks and driveways as soon as conditions are safe
4. Take frequent breaks when shoveling, drink plenty of water and stay warm
5. If possible, wait until plows have passed before final driveway clearing
6. Keep fire hydrants clear of snow
