Winter Storm Watch issued January 22 at 12:38PM EST until January 26 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulation greater than 7
inches possible.
* WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, all of
east central and eastern New York except for northern Fulton,
Hamilton and northern Fulton Counties, and southern Vermont.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous travel conditions will be possible due to snow
covered roadways and reduced visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An impactful long-duration winter storm is
expected Sunday into Monday. Snowfall rates may exceed one inch
per hour at times, especially on Sunday night.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
