Description
Considering the forecasted winter weather event, residents are asked to park vehicles off the street whenever possible to allow snowplows to safely and effectively clear roadways.

Vehicles parked on the street can limit plow access and reduce the effectiveness of snow removal operations. Parking off-street helps crews clear curb-to-curb and improves safety for everyone.

Residents are also requested not to shovel or plow snow into the street. Snow may be piled at the curb only. Placing snow in the roadway creates hazardous driving conditions and interferes with snow removal efforts.

Additionally, once snowfall has ceased or stopped accumulating, property owners are reminded to clear sidewalks so that a continuous, unobstructed path at least three (3) feet in width, free of snow and ice, is maintained along the entire length of the sidewalk.

Thank you for your cooperation and help in keeping our community safe during this storm.
