Northwestern Clinton County in north central Pennsylvania...
Elk County in north central Pennsylvania...
Southern Potter County in north central Pennsylvania...
* Until 815 AM EST.
* At 723 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from Hicks Run to near Brookville, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.
SOURCE...Radar and webcams.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.
Motorists along US-219 between Brockway and Wilcox as well as PA-120
from Ridgway to Emporium should be prepared for dangerous travel
conditions.
Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Ridgway, Johnsonburg, Cameron, Wharton, Keating, Emporium,
Renovo, Galeton, South Renovo, Force, and Benezette.
Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
