Special Weather Statement issued January 22 at 2:50AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Given the recent cold spell, observed roadway surface temperatures
are still below freezing even though air temperatures at some
locations are above freezing, which will lead to patchy ice
and hazardous travel conditions along area roadways, especially
secondary roadways that may be untreated. Motorists are advised to
use caution while traveling this morning.
