Winter Storm Watch issued January 22 at 1:49AM EST until January 26 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow with widespread amounts of 7 inches or more
likely.
* WHERE...Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heavy snow could make travel extremely difficult Sunday
through Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At this time, the heaviest snowfall is
forecast to be from the Twin Tiers southward, however, further
adjustments to the storm track is likely in the coming days.
Snowfall could be very heavy at times Sunday through Sunday night
with hourly rates exceeding 1 inch per hour.
