Winter Storm Watch issued January 22 at 1:58AM EST until January 26 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations 1 to 3
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will produce blowing and
drifting snow in open areas.
Widespread heavy snow possible late Saturday night through Monday
evening. Significant accumulations possible.
* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, and Allegany Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST this
morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night
through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions with
reduced visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the
Thursday morning commute.
Begin needed preparations at home or with your vehicle. Travel may
become difficult, so plan accordingly.
Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited
visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.
