Snow Squall Warning issued January 21 at 10:42PM EST until January 21 at 11:45PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Wayne County in western New York...
Wyoming County in western New York...
Cattaraugus County in western New York...
Southeastern Erie County in western New York...
Livingston County in western New York...
Southern Chautauqua County in western New York...
Northwestern Allegany County in western New York...
Eastern Genesee County in western New York...
Monroe County in western New York...
Northwestern Ontario County in western New York...

* Until 1145 PM EST.

* At 1042 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from 22 miles north of Ontario to near Varysburg to 6
miles north of Lottsville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than
one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 20 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 390 between exits 4 and 12.
Interstate 90 between exits 43 and 47.
Interstate 86 between exits 7 and 28.

Locations impacted include...
Rochester, Greece, Irondequoit, Jamestown, Chili, Batavia, Olean,
Canandaigua, Brockport, and Geneseo.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
