Snow Squall Warning issued January 21 at 9:50PM EST until January 21 at 10:45PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Western Wyoming County in western New York...
Northwestern Cattaraugus County in western New York...
Erie County in western New York...
Southeastern Niagara County in western New York...
Orleans County in western New York...
Chautauqua County in western New York...
Genesee County in western New York...
Western Monroe County in western New York...

* Until 1045 PM EST.

* At 950 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Point Breeze to Eden to near Findley Lake,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than
one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 20 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 90 between exits 47 and 60.
Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 15.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Rochester, Greece, Cheektowaga, Irondequoit, West Seneca,
Jamestown, Clarence, Chili, and Lackawanna.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
