* Until 115 PM EST.
* At 1210 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over New Castle
Northwest, or near New Castle, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.
SOURCE...Doppler radar and webcams.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

New Castle, Grove City, Slippery Rock, New Wilmington, Oakwood, New
Castle Northwest, Pulaski, Harrisville, Plain Grove Township, South
New Castle, Emlenton, Clintonville, St. Petersburg, West Liberty,
Eau Claire, Harlansburg, Kennerdell, Barkeyville, Foxburg and
Volant.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 14 and 50.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 105 and 118.
Interstate 376 between mile markers 4 and 17.
Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
There is no safe place on a highway when a snow squall hits.
Visibility and traction are immediately lost in whiteout conditions,
making it difficult or impossible to slow down and avoid stopped
vehicles. Delay travel or safely exit the highway before the snow
squall arrives.
