Freeze Warning issued January 19 at 11:46AM EST until January 20 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 expected.
* WHERE...Coastal Citrus, Coastal Hernando, Coastal Levy, Inland
Citrus, Inland Hernando, Inland Levy, and Sumter Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of frost is also likely in wind
protected areas that could kill sensitive vegetation.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
