Cold Weather Advisory issued January 18 at 11:53PM EST until January 20 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 18 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, northwest, southwest, and
western Pennsylvania, and northern and the northern panhandle of
West Virginia.
* WHEN...From 9 PM Monday to noon EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 18 below zero
could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not
taken.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
If you do not have heat in your home or lack shelter, you can call
211 or visit 211oh.org, pa211.org, or wv211.org for assistance
locating appropriate shelter from the cold.
