Freeze Watch issued January 17 at 12:25AM EST until January 19 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
* WHAT...For the Frost Advisory, temperatures as low as 33 will
result in frost formation. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 26 possible.
* WHERE...Coastal Citrus, Coastal Hernando, Coastal Levy, and Inland
Pasco Counties.
* WHEN...For the Frost Advisory, until 7 AM EST this morning. For
the Freeze Watch, from late Sunday night through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
