Description
Duquesne Light Company (DLC) will be working in the Borough next week as part of its 2025 Proactive Vegetation Management Program. This effort follows the severe storms that impacted many areas of Allegheny County, including Churchill Borough, earlier this year.
As part of this program, DLC crews will be clearing overgrown trees, shrubs, and brush near power lines. This routine maintenance helps prevent power outages and protects both customers and the community, as falling trees and vegetation are a leading cause of service interruptions in DLC’s service area.
The Borough has been advised that all work will be overseen by certified arborists to ensure it is completed safely and professionally.
The roads they will be working on are as follows: Beaulah Rd, Churchill Rd, Edgewood Rd, Greensburg Pike, Hampstead Dr, Holland Rd, Homer Dr, Lewin Ln, Margaretta St, Nottingham Dr, Old Beulah Rd, Rose Dr, Royal Oak Ave, Suzanne Dr, Thornberry Dr, and William Penn Hwy.
