Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 14 at 12:31AM EST until January 16 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 6 and 10 inches with locally higher amounts possible where
heavy snow bands persist.
* WHERE...Southern Erie County.
* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect blustery conditions as the cold front
moves through the region. Temperatures will fall through the day
Wednesday and wind chills could dip below zero Wednesday night.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
