Snow Squall Warning issued January 11 at 8:48AM EST until January 11 at 9:15AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Southwestern Forest County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
Venango County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
Northwestern Armstrong County in west central Pennsylvania...
Butler County in west central Pennsylvania...
Clarion County in west central Pennsylvania...

* Until 915 AM EST.

* At 848 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
from 7 miles west of Tionesta to over Mars, or along a line from 7
miles east of Oil City to near Cranberry, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.

SOURCE...Doppler radar and webcams.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

* Locations impacted include...
Cranberry, Butler, Oil City, Franklin, Clarion, Kittanning, Knox,
Rimersburg, Economy, Homeacre-Lyndora, Sugarcreek, Shanor-Northvue,
Meridian, Zelienople, Slippery Rock, Seven Fields, Meadowood, Oak
Hills, Sarver and Evans City.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 29 and 66.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 79 and 98.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 25 and 28.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
