Wind Advisory issued January 9 at 11:36AM EST until January 9 at 10:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected,
with strongest gusts across the Finger Lakes through early
afternoon. Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
late afternoon through evening.
* WHERE...Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Livingston, Ontario,
Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
