Wind Advisory issued January 9 at 12:45AM EST until January 9 at 10:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected,
with strongest gusts this morning across the Finger Lakes.
Southwest winds this afternoon and through the evening gusting to
50 mph region-wide.
* WHERE...Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Livingston, Ontario,
Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 10 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
