If a citizen needs to dispose of needles, LeighAnn Abraham with Adams County spoke to the PA Dept of Environmental Protection and was informed that it would be acceptable to: cap any personal-use needles, place needle in a heavy plastic container, such as a laundry bottle, seal the bottle’s lid with duct tape and label the bottle “do not recycle” and dispose of the bottle in the trash.
If any other disposal places are located an update will be sent out.
