Attention New Stanton Residents: it has come to my attention that there is a lot of confusion about the payment options for Bankosh Sanitation. For those of you that received a letter from them the service rates and options are as follows:
Resident - $20.50/mth, billed quarterly = $61.50
Senior Resident (65 and older) - $18.50/mth, billed quarterly = $55.50 (bring proof of age to the Borough office)
Senior Citizen (65 and older) bag rate option with no monthly charge - $2.00 per sticker (what they forgot to add was only 12 stickers for the year which is one sticker per month)
If you have not received a letter or bill please call Bankosh at 724-461-4185 to get set up so your trash is picked up.
Both Bankosh Sanitation and New Stanton Borough would like to apologize for this confusion but please realize there are always hiccups when change occurs.
