Special Weather Statement issued January 6 at 12:28AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
Area observations, cameras, and satellite imagery all indicate
that patchy fog is now expanding northward across east central
Florida, including suburban portions of Greater Orlando to Lake
and Volusia counties. So far, visibilities down to around a half
mile have been observed.
Trends will be monitored, and if the fog becomes widespread, a
Dense Fog Advisory may be required early this morning.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
