Special Weather Statement issued January 5 at 9:58AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
Earlier widespread dense fog continues to lift, though patches of
dense fog may linger through around 11 AM. Drivers should be
prepared for rapidly changing visibilities. If encountering dense
fog on area roadways, use your low beam headlights, reduce your
speed, and maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the
one ahead of you.
