Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 1 at 8:14PM EST until January 2 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4
to 7 inches in the most persistent snow.

* WHERE...Erie County.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times due to slippery road
conditions and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions should
impact the Friday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow, with snowfall rates up to
one inch per hour at times, is expected through about daybreak
Friday.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel
