Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 1 at 12:41AM EST until January 1 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 1 and 3 inches with locally higher amounts up to 4 inches
possible across the higher terrain of interior eastern Erie
County. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph late tonight.

* WHERE...Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing snow are possible late
tonight, which could produce additional slippery road conditions
and reduced visibilities.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel
