Winter Weather Advisory issued December 31 at 1:34PM EST until January 1 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches. Snow squall conditions will be possible during the evening
and overnight.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, northwest, southwest, and
western Pennsylvania, and northern and the northern panhandle of
West Virginia.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact this evening's and Wednesday morning
commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Some patchy freezing drizzle is possible this
afternoon leading to some slick or icy spots on area roadways,
particularly on elevated or untreated surfaces.
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions
can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
