Special Weather Statement issued December 30 at 3:47AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Overnight snow showers and brief snow squalls have impacted road
conditions in portions of the region and may continue into the early
morning commute. Even brief periods of snowfall may result in slick
and hazardous travel conditions, especially during the morning rush
hour.
Motorist are urged to use caution, allow extra travel time, and be
prepared for rapidly changing conditions. Conditions are expected to
gradually improve later this mornig as snow activity diminishes.
